When the final event ends, the winning team is thrilled. They lift their captain into the air, and the spectators erupt in applause. Yet what we admire most is not the trophy but the spirit of fair effort.
In the end, sports day teaches us something larger than victory. Each child learns that to achieve anything worth winning requires a teammate's support, an honest opponent, and the willingness to try again after every defeat.
